Since August 2022, Prevention of Crime Ahuntsic-Cartierville has been responsible for Ahuntsic-Cartierville Youth Action Project. The mission of this project is to improve the sense of safety and prevent crime among young people aged 12 to 25 in the borough.

Support for a cohort of 10 young people
Development of a project by and for young people with the aim of:
- Create tools to promote a sense of safety
- Appeal to other young people via social networks
- Take positive, visible action in the neighbourhood
Establishing links with other youth organizations in the community
- Participate in issue tables and networking activities
- Participate in neighbourhood events
- Visit partner organizations
Set up booths at neighborhood events and high schools
- Present the project
- Gather information (questionnaires, informal exchanges, observations, etc.)
- Distribute promotional material
